After taking a look at the performance of various sectors, let's have a look at the best and worst performing industries out there. The criteria I chose for picking out the very best and the rotten apples was the distance of the index from MA(20) and MA(50).
Of the major industries, there were only two indexes out there that were above both their MA(20) and MA(50):
(1) Gold/Silver Index - No surprises here.
(2) Internet Index
And now on to the worst.
(1) No prizes for getting this one right!
(2) Disk Drive Index
